19 Mar 2007 - Explorer Room conversion
From 19th March 2007, work has been going on within and around the Explorer Room in 1st Flixton Scout Hut.
With the increasing numbers of Explorers, it is becoming cramped within the existing room that is used.
This called for work to be done.

So far the wall of the Explorer store room has been moved to nearly double the size of the the stores.
The wall joining the existing Explorer Room and the old Scout Section store room, (which is now unused), is to be removed to nearly double the size of the Explorer Room.
After the work is complete, the area then used by the Explorer unit will be sufficient.
